What is faith? It’s more than just information. It’s life. It can be easy to go to Church on Sunday to check the box and then move on with the rest of your life. But Jesus calls us to live out our faith in all that we do. So, how do you take what you hear on Sunday and live it out in your family and in your community? Through reflection and practice. At PewTalk Podcast, we reflect on the past weekend’s sermon at Trinity Fremont and give practical starting points to live out your faith in your family and in your community.

What are you plans for next year? Next week? Tomorrow? Today? Do those line up with God's plan for your life? Pastor Heuer looks at how God sent Paul to different places to preach the Good News. But sometimes, the Holy Spirit stopped him from preaching. So, Paul continued to follow the Spirit's guidance, wherever it led.
How does that affect you today? How does the Holy Spirit speak to you?

It’s the return of the Pew Talk podcast, only this time we’re going live on Facebook and YouTube. This week we discuss what it means to tell our stories to the ends of the earth and why we might be comfortable being stuck in the belly of the whale, so comfortable that we even set up pews in there.

See a need. Fill a need.
The Church, the body of Christ, is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, filling the needs of the community. But, often, that is delegated to the paid church staff or just a few volunteers. What if everybody took that call seriously and live out their vocation, God's Will for their lives, in service, love, and gratitude? What if the Church acted like the Church is supposed to act instead of living comfortably?

What's your story? How has Jesus changed your life? This week, Pastor Gerber tells his story of how Jesus released him from the weight of the Law. Can you relate? Whether your story is like Pastor Gerber's or Peter's, filled with a long history or it's like Philip's, where he simply invites a friend along to "Come and See," the Holy Spirit wants to use you to share your story and grow God's Kingdom.

The day of Pentecost is considered the birthday of the Church. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we see the Church grow by 3,000 in one day!! Those early followers of the resurrected Jesus valued:
- Devotion to God and His Word
- Fellowship with one another
- Radical Generosity and Sharing
- Praying and Worshipping together
Since they lived in a different culture with different circumstances, we can't simply copy and paste their practices today. But how do their values fit for us today to go and make disciples of all nations?
- Acts 2
